Playing I-Spy With My Third Eye

It's been a long time since I've posted here. Probably too long, and the once-bright ideas are now flesh-coloured and dusty, ghosts with barely any essence haunting my attic. Sometimes they convulse and wheeze into a semblance of life, trying to walk but manage only a crawl. Then, as my attention is diverted elsewhere, they slink back, puffing and panting for breath, waiting patiently for the next flicker of inspiration from me.

I had this idea, see, to write stories, snapshots, prose alongside the pictures, and publish them in a collection. It's something I'll get around to, but as of now, the project is on hiatus.

What I plan to do (hopefully within the the next two days) is update the rest of the year's photos, creating a wholesome chunk (no fractals here) of two year's worth of pictures.

Then, dear viewer, I think we'll go from there. If you are one of the few that has taken the time to view these glimpses into what I see, then thank you for your interest. It does mean a lot.

:: I have a thing for bees and bee-related topics. Coincidentally, not six feet away from this Scrabble board is a bumble bee nest - the bees have decided to nest in the air brick outside, although they quite often mistake coming into the lounge through the back door as a shortcut to their home. Which it's not. Hence the bee rescuing kit (high-tech: contains 1 glass tumbler, 1 old birthday card) has come into play. I never before realised how much air their wings disturb. Look at it, the next time you see one. They also delight in disturbing me as I'm writing - it has been known for me to rescue up to five in an hour, resulting in many a "bee off with you!" cry to spring forth from my lips. ::
